The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) of Panjab University is one of the most prestigious pharmaceutical institute of India. The institute set up in the pre-independent India, at Lahore, in 1944. Known for its excellence in pharmaceutical education, research and committed to serve the society by adopting global quality standards and ethical values to generate innovative pharmaceutical products, the UIPS has been ranked numero uno among public pharmacy institutes in the NIRF rankings released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) of India since 2016.
